Life Saving Achievement Award from OnSpot Dermatology
ORLANDO, FL (March 6, 2025) – Rosen Hotels & Resorts and the Rosen Medical Center have been honored with the prestigious Life Saving Achievement Award from OnSpot Dermatology, recognizing their exemplary efforts in skin cancer prevention and early detection. The award was presented today at the Rosen Medical Center.
As part of Rosen Hotels & Resorts’ rich health benefits plan, the OnSpot Dermatology collaboration resulted in hundreds of patient screenings. Those screenings revealed multiple cases of skin cancer ranging from precancerous lesions up to melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer.
“We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of our associates,” said Frank Santos, president and CEO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts. “That commitment will only get stronger as our medical and human resources teams work hand-in-hand to provide associates the best coverage possible, and in this case, with life-saving results,” Santos added.
“The partnership with OnSpot Dermatology underscores our dedication to preventive health measures,” said Kenneth Aldridge, RN, BSN, MS-HSA, director of medical services for Rosen Medical Center/RosenHealth. “Especially living here in Florida, removing the barriers of access and bringing a mobile dermatology facility to our doorstep gives us the best chance of early detection and reinforces our mission to provide comprehensive care.”
“Our collaboration with the Rosen Medical Center has been nothing short of transformative,” Cam Hanley, general manager of OnSpot Dermatology, stated. “Their proactive and forward-thinking approach to employee health has not only set a new standard in workplace wellness but has also paved the way for other organizations to include critical screenings, such as skin cancer, in their wellness initiatives. Through their unwavering commitment to early detection, Rosen Hotels & Resorts has saved lives and created a healthier environment for their employees. It is with great pride that we present this award, recognizing their dedication to making a profound impact on the health and well-being of their workforce.”
RosenHealth, which is a broader initiative aimed at assisting other employers with their health care initiatives, has further demonstrated the impact of early detection. RosenHealth partners, like the School District of Osceola County and others, have conducted thousands of appointments with OnSpot, with similar results to Rosen Hotels & Resorts, finding everything from precancerous lesions to multiple melanomas.
