Culinary team is working with Hidden Springs Ale Works for a food and drink pairing event featuring delicious cuisine and creative craft drinks.
Orlando, FL (March 20, 2024) – Rosen Centre Hotel proudly unveiled its menu for its annual Sip & Savor food event which pairs amazing cuisine from award-winning Chef Tello Luna and for the “sip” portion, special craft beer from Tampa’s Hidden Springs Ale Works. The spring event, which is taking place Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 6:30 P. M. at Harry’s Poolside Bar & Grill, is the first of three exclusive pairing events Rosen Centre is hosting this year.
The menu pairings are, in a word, stunning. They feature:
- Sweet potato gnocchi with steamed mussels, lobster sauce and sweet corn sauce paired with an Orange Crush American Wheat Beer
- Fried Flounder with tomato & borlotti bean sauce and salsa verde paired with a ZFG Zero IBU Pale Ale
- Roasted bone marrow with shallot-fig marmalade, citrus salad and crostini paired with Riot Juice Berliner Weisse with blackberry, lime, vanilla and milk sugar.
- Chicken Roulade with queso fresco, poblano & chorizo potato cake with guajillo pepper sauce paired with Manatee Sour Ale with passionfruit, blackberry and vanilla.
- Chocolate espresso with cumin-scented caramel Cremieux paired with Peanut Butter Deja Moo Milk Stout
- Cardamon apricot sorbet
Chef Tello Luna is one of Rosen Centre’s award-winning chefs and has been featured on TV newscasts, cooking contests and local radio broadcasts. He is renowned for his authenticity and kitchen flare and oversees Harry’s Poolside Bar & Grill and 98Forty Tapas and Tequila. Chef Tello attributes his unique cooking style to his blend of old-world techniques learned in his mother’s kitchen in Mexico, his travels to the Caribbean and his experience working in some of New York City’s finest restaurants.
