ORLANDO, FL (December 5, 2024) – James Bina, Treasurer and Director of Finance at Rosen Hotels & Resorts, has been elected as Vice President of the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP)’s 2024-2025 Global Executive Committee and Board of Directors. HFTP is an international nonprofit association with over 70 years of experience helping hospitality professionals grow and excel in their careers.

The HFTP board is made up of volunteers and it is composed of members from diverse hospitality sectors. The board’s mission is to support its members with educational opportunities and resources while advancing the organization’s reach across the industry.

Bina, a 32-year veteran of Rosen Hotels & Resorts, has served as President of Millennium Technology Group (MTG), a subsidiary company. In this role, he oversaw the purchasing, installation and maintenance of all technology items for the company’s clients.

In parallel, Bina has been an active member of HFTP for over three decades, contributing to various committees, including the HITEC Advisory Council, Global Finance Committee and Nominating Committee.

“HFTP has been instrumental in my professional growth, and it is a great honor to be elected to this year’s Global Executive Committee and Board of Directors,” said Bina. “I am grateful for this opportunity, and I am committed to giving back and supporting the next generation of hospitality leaders.”

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bina has earned the certifications of Certified Hospitality Account Executive (CHAE) and Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP). He also served on the board of Girl Scouts of Citrus Council.
