Orlando, FL, November 3, 2022 — Rosen Hotels & Resorts is the recipient of seven Stella Awards, one of the meeting industry’s highest honors. The Northstar Meeting Group awards are given annually to hotels, convention centers, airlines, cruise lines and others for consistent, quality service and innovation to meeting and events professionals.

The awards are as follows:

  • Best Hotel/Resort Event Space, Southeast Region, Gold

  • Best Onsite Support Staff, Southeast Region, Gold
  • Best Food & Beverage, Southeast Region, Silver
• Rosen Centre
  • Best Onsite Support Staff, Southeast Region, Bronze

Rosen Hotels & Resorts President Harris Rosen says his little company has come a long way since he purchased his first property, Rosen Inn International, back in 1974. He credits his associates’ hard work and shared passion for the company’s continued success. “We worked very hard, sometimes in the most trying times,” said Rosen. “I have found if you treat people with respect, honesty and integrity, whether they are associates or guests, good things can happen,” Rosen added.

Rosen Shingle Creek took home five honors including gold for Best Hotel/Resort, Best Hotel/Resort Event Space, Best Golf Resort and Best Onsite Support Staff in the Southeast region. General Manager Dan Giordano echoed Mr. Rosen’s sentiments recognizing the associates’ efforts daily. “Every day this team gives 100-percent for our guests, with smiles on their faces. I’m honored by the recognition, especially since the votes come from meeting planners and hospitality industry professionals,” said Giordano.

Northstar Meetings Group said nearly 6,000 votes were cast this year from 561 destinations worldwide.
